A scrimshaw carving of the mallard duck has been attempted by many. This duck handle however; is perfected by the contrasting colors of the realistic beak, subtle quills and brightly colored eyes. This collectors cane is made more rustic by the natural chestnut shaft. This shaft is slightly knotted and has been stained a rich walnut color to protect and enhance the natural properties of the wood. Since 1825 Comoys of London has offered some of the most unique walking sticks and canes in the world. In 1999 Comoys of London stopped producing collectable canes and walking sticks.
